View from the 5th.Street Bridge

View from the 5Th. Street Bridge
I painted this morning in Northeast Minneapolis with members of Outdoor Painters of Minnesota.
We were lucky to have such a mild morning this late in December. It was about 40 degrees at 9:00am. The warm weather created a overcast day with some nice atmospheric effects.  This is my painting;

Ban Fill Locke

I went out to paint today, the first time in a week.It was a beautiful morning a lot of moisture in the air made for lovely atmosphere, I started my painting and before I could cover my canvas the snow arrived. It cut my painting session short. I'm posting my start on location , and my painting after working from memory in my studio.I feel this is a work in progress. It still need a little more time on the easel.
This in my start in the field
And this is my painting 2/3 done.
